About Us

About Meg:

My sensitivity, compassion, and thoughtfulness were born, through some mysterious alchemy, from a childhood that was unpredictable and often violent. I am drawn to careers that involve working closely with people, especially children, and their animals.

My husband introduced me to the healing power of animals. Together we have been parents to 10 dogs, and raised two breeds over decades together. My first Airedale Terrier, Gabriel, was a dog with whom I had a unique bond, as he was my Service Dog. He was trained to help me maintain stability in walking as my balance is compromised by Multiple Sclerosis.

One Sunday morning, as we were reporting to a conference, I received a text that Gabriel had gone missing from a trusted kennel. He had not been found by the time we were on the home stretch of the Interstate. It was us who found him by the side of the road. We had a few moments to weep and say our good-byes before Animal Control took away his body. We had some comfort from a miracle as we sat in the car at that roadside. A cloud in the distinct shape of an Airedale was visible through our windshield.

I was undone by the loss of Gabriel. While searching for anything that could help make sense of him leaving us in such a sudden and violent manner, I came upon the Animal Communication school of Danielle Mackinnon. After five months of clear contact with Gabriel through one of Danielle’s practitioners, I signed up for an Animal Communication workshop. That exciting weekend led me to a year of intense study to add this skill set and offer it to you here. I am now a Certified Professional Practitioner of  Soul Level Animal Communication.

Everything I need to know, I learned from Noah’s Ark

  1. Don’t miss the boat.
  2. Remember that we are all in the same boat.
  3. Plan ahead. It wasn’t raining when they built the Ark.
  4. Stay fit. When you are 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
  5. Don’t listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
  6. Build your future on high ground.
  7. For safety’s sake, travel in pairs.
  8. Speed isn’t always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
  9. When you are stressed, float awhile.
  10. Remember the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
  11. No matter the storm, when you are with God, there’s always a rainbow waiting.
